Reception Technology
3D HealthNet is compatible with Real Player, QuickTime or Windows Media Player formats. The free end-user software for each of these formats is readily available through Real, Apple and Microsoft. Easy and quick download processes enable end-users to quickly access slp3D solutions from their desktops.
Content experienced via 3D HealthNet can best be viewed at data rates of 56Kbps and up, with delivery rates of 28Kbps being sufficient for audio presentations. Within a local area network, proxy servers can be used to distribute 3D HealthNet to a multicast environment.
slp3D provides your audience with ways to easily test their systems' technical compatibility prior to accessing a 3D HealthNet Live Event or on-demand content. They can also check whether or not they have the required streaming media player through the slp3D LaunchSite. Users will always find a link to download the appropriate free player on the LaunchSite itself.
